In Indian classical music, the antara is the verse that rises between two refrains — the moment a melody lifts, reveals its depth, and returns changed. It felt like the only name worthy of this collection. Every lehenga in Antara is composed the way a raag is composed: patiently, reverently, and with room for the wearer to bring her own voice.
The collection began, as all things at Raagwaas do, with the artisans. Raw silk was brought from looms we have worked with for years. Zardozi karigars — whose fathers and grandfathers coiled gold wire for royal houses — sat with our designers over endless cups of chai, translating sketches into motifs that could live on fabric.
A bridal lehenga is not stitched. It is composed.
What emerged is a study in quiet opulence. Deep reds that hold their colour like a held note. Blush pinks folded with gota patti that catches light the way dawn catches the Yamuna. Gold tissue so fine it moves like a whispered secret. Nothing in Antara shouts; everything in Antara stays with you.

We believe heritage is not a museum piece — it is a living inheritance. The bride who wears Antara carries thousands of hours of handwork, but she also carries something less measurable: the certainty that her lehenga exists nowhere else in the world, and never will again.
